PT Sekeluarga Healing Adventure is a local tourism company based in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. We organize private tours, cultural experiences, nature adventures, and sightseeing trips for domestic and international travelers.
Our destinations include Makassar city, the spectacular limestone landscapes of Rammang-Rammang, the prehistoric caves of Leang-Leang, Bantimurung Waterfall, the archaeological attractions of Pangkep, and the highlands and cultural destinations of Gowa.
We aim to provide memorable travel experiences by combining local knowledge, professional service, cultural understanding, and responsible tourism practices.
As our tourism activities continue to develop, we need an additional tour guide who can assist guests, explain local attractions, and represent our company professionally.
Position: Tour Guide
Number of vacancies: 1 person
Work location: Makassar, Maros, Pangkep, Gowa, and surrounding areas in South Sulawesi.
Employment arrangement: Daily or per-trip basis, depending on tour assignments and operational requirements.
The selected candidate will assist travelers during tours, provide information about destinations, introduce local culture and traditions, and help ensure that guests enjoy a safe, comfortable, and informative journey.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
1. Good English communication skills
Applicants must be able to communicate in English with international tourists. Candidates should be comfortable introducing themselves, explaining destinations, answering basic questions, and assisting guests throughout a tour.
Basic, Fluent or advanced English is an advantage, especially for guiding travelers from different cultural backgrounds.
2. Minimum education: Senior High School
Applicants must have graduated from senior high school (SMA/SMK) or an equivalent educational institution.
University students who are currently studying are also welcome to apply, provided they can manage their academic schedules and tour assignments responsibly.
3. Residence in Makassar or Maros
Applicants must currently live in Makassar City or Maros Regency, South Sulawesi.
This requirement helps ensure that the selected candidate can coordinate transportation and tour schedules efficiently.
4. Knowledge of local tourist destinations
Applicants should have a good understanding of tourism destinations in Makassar, Maros, Pangkep, and Gowa.
Knowledge of local history, cultural traditions, natural attractions, transportation routes, and local communities will be highly valued.
Experience or familiarity with destinations such as Rammang-Rammang, Leang-Leang, Bantimurung, Makassar city attractions, and other places of interest in South Sulawesi will be an advantage.
5. Positive attitude and professional conduct
We are looking for someone who is friendly, honest, punctual, responsible, and willing to learn. The ability to work with a team, adapt to different guests, and maintain a professional attitude is essential.
Previous experience as a tour guide is an advantage, but enthusiastic applicants who meet the basic qualifications are encouraged to apply.

- Daily or per-trip payment: Compensation will be provided according to the agreed arrangement and assigned tour.

- Tourist entrance tickets covered: Entrance fees for destinations included in the assigned tour will be covered by the company.
- Transportation provided: Pickup and drop-off from the guide's residence in Makassar City or Maros Regency will be arranged by the company, subject to tour logistics and scheduling.
