Itinerary: A Journey Through Serenity and Wonder
Day 1: Makassar – Lake Tanralili
- Meet at Sultan Hasanuddin Airport, then drive around 5 hours to Manimbahoi Village, the starting point of the hike.
- Registration and gear check before starting the 3-hour trek to Lake Tanralili.
- Arrive at the lake, unwind, and enjoy a tranquil lakeside sunset.
- Spend the night in tents by the lake, with a warm dinner and a sky full of stars.
Day 2: Lake Tanralili – Lembah Lohe
- Enjoy a peaceful morning by the lake and a hearty breakfast.
- Begin the 3-hour trek to Lembah Lohe, passing scenic hills and forest paths.\
- Arrive at Lembah Lohe, a wide open valley surrounded by mountains and pure green serenity.
- Watch a breathtaking sunset at Lembah Lohe.
- Camp overnight in the valley, sipping warm drinks and swapping stories by the tent.
Day 3: Sunrise & Return
- Wake up to a magical sunrise over Lembah Lohe, a calm and humbling sight.
- Take a light morning walk, explore the valley, or just relax and soak in the views.
- Hike back to basecamp, and return to either the airport or your hotel in Makassar.
About Lembah Lohe & Lake Tanralili
Lembah Lohe is a picturesque valley at the foot of Mount Bawakaraeng. With its wide green plains, fresh mountain air, and untouched nature, it feels like something out of a fantasy novel. Still relatively unknown, it remains serene and unspoiled.
Lake Tanralili, often called the “Mini Ranu Kumbolo” of Sulawesi, is a pristine alpine lake surrounded by cliffs and trees. It’s perfect for reflection, photos, or simply losing track of time in nature’s embrace.
What to Bring:
- Good physical condition (the trail is not extreme, but does involve steady climbing)
- Hiking shoes or trekking sandals
- Spare clothes & a warm jacket
- Personal medication
- Camera or smartphone for photos
